Lumen Naturae. Light of Nature. Light within creation. Light within light.

Light hidden within the heart, light of the soul. Light of the innermost being, the Divine light of self. Light that illuminates consciousness. Pure awareness, without judgement or expectation. It is the inner work that reveals matter’s divine light. Alchemy of our nature, transformation of the soul.

The Lumen Naturae is the luminosity within the darkness recognizing itself as it illumines its own darkness. For the alchemists, darkness isn’t merely an absence of light, but a quality that is an expression of the indwelling light of being that has no opposite. An elemental paradox. Shadows themselves are nothing other than an expression of light; light itself contains and generates shadows. Where there are no shadows, there is no light.

Seeing with this light is a form of reverence, a prayer, a blessing given and received. We come to see the Truth that is hidden within our hearts and unlock the light within Nature, reconnecting and awakening, the gift of belonging.

Our essential nature is light. We come from light and return to light. Within and All around us is light, even if it is hidden, veiled from sight.

Divine light and love is our true nature and real home, the Source of all that exists. It is here for me, it is here for you. It is already ours.
